Hologram Desktop Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is for the Hologram Desktop macOS application ("Hologram Desktop") built and maintained by IdeaPunch, LLC.
We believe your data is yours and yours alone. We do not store or transmit your personal information, nor do we include any third-party advertising or analytics software.
By downloading, accessing, or using Hologram Desktop, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, and our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy or our Terms and Conditions, do not use Hologram Desktop.
What Information Do We Collect?
Hologram Desktop does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information or information that uniquely identifies you.
Hologram does communicate with the following APIs:
- Weather. In order to display weather data, the location you set in your Hologram preferences is passed to Open Weather Map.
- Wallpaper services (Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay). When you search for a wallpaper, your search term is passed to that service.
When the above APIs are called from within the app, hologram sends an anonymous ping to gethologram.com to track how many times each API is called. This allows us to monitor how much our APIs are being used. No personal or user-identifying information is transmitted or collected.
Hologram does not collect any other data.
How Do We Use Your Information?
We collect the number of calls to each of the APIs that hologram uses. This is used to monitor how much our API accounts are being used and to ensure that we are not exceeding our API usage limits.
We do not share any information with third parties.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on this page and by announcing it in the Release Notes. The date this Privacy Policy was last revised is indicated at the top of the page. By continuing to use Hologram Desktop, you agree to any revised changes.
